Born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Luis Castro moved to Stuart Florida at age 4. In 2004, he relocated to Palmetto Florida where he attended and graduated from Palmetto High School. After high school, Luis attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. During this time, Mr. Castro worked full-time as a bookkeeper for a major grocery store. Mr. Castro went on to achieve a degree in communications in 2013.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Castro attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School located in Riverview, Florida. While in law school, Mr. Castro interned with Ruhl Law P.A. Through this experience, he learned to interact with clients and prepare criminal cases from inception to completion.
During his final year of Law School, Mr. Castro left Ruhl Law P.A. to become a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) with the 12th Judicial Circuit Public Defenders Office in Manatee County, Florida. During that time, Mr. Castro handled several jury trials and numerous evidentiary hearings for indigent individuals who had been accused of committing a crime.
